Route “WHOLE CYPRUS”
Day 1 (sunday) Arrival (about 2 p.m.), transfer to the hotel (by 4:30 p.m.), evening meeting, we get acquainted, find out each others expectations, experience etc. As people who organize it we share our wishes, possibilities and requirements.
Day 2 (monday) In the morning we all go to the office, receive necessary papers, get our bikes, it will take about two hours anyway. After lunch we have first ride. Something easy for three hours on old road to Paphos through Kurium, Apollo’s cathedral, Aphrodite’s birth place and back by high-way. We understand how you are riding, you get impressions about Cyprus.
Day 3 (tuesday) and Day 4 (wednesday) We’ll go to the mountains increasing the difficulty and duration of the rides. First day will be easy – though mountains to Nicosia and back by highway. Second – Kikos – Stavros-Tis-Psokos – Kato-Pyrgos – Polis – Paphos – Limassol, all ride through mountains and back via western end of the island. There are many serpentines there and lots of “closed” turns, but it’s very beautiful! The road is good, not easy, but possible to deal with.
Day 5 (thursday) and Day 6 (friday) are your choice – you can go to the northern part of the island and spend night in bungaloo (or hotel). We can not make this route obligatory as there will be extra expenses in it. Minimum – insurance and night stay, but in general the expenses won’t exceed 50-60$. If there are no people to take this route, we’ll go on riding the mountains, visit vinery, see Venice bridges, do speed (but not too high speed!) ride to Aia-Napa by highway and etc. and etc. So these two days we spend as you wish.
Day 7 (saturday) – It’s so called “freeday”. You can ride on your own via places you liked the most. We do not accompany you. You can go to some places once again with your wide(others who are your passengers), buy souvenirs, have lunch at some restaurant that attracted your special attention. If you want to see new places we can guide you but for extra money. In the evening you return bikes, we say good-buy, kiss and hug and cry and promise to return asap!
Day 8 (sunday) You go to the airport and fly back to Moscow.
